I was having problems with the Air Conditioning in my work truck. I was looking at triple digits in the next week and a half. I needed the AC fixed quickly. I called Rod's Auto Repair, it was later in the afternoon on a Friday. Rod got on the phone and asked if I could bring it in right away, he said his Monday looked packed. I brought the truck in and sure enough in a hour and a half I was driving out of there with the AC blowing! Francine in the office was terrific. Everyone there is very knowledgeable and willing to help the situation. Great experience. I would definitely recommend Rod's Auto Repair.
We've used Rod's for about 30 years and have always found him to be totally trustworthy, professional, fairly priced AND have found that he will only fix what needs to be fixed and will let you know if there are things that can wait or things that must be done immediately. You can count on Rod's!
We had a problem with our motorhome that the other shop couldn't figure out. Rod promptly diagnosed it to be a faulty coil. I have also taken my jetboat to him for motor repairs as he is well versed on jetboats. He can figure out the odd problems that others can't. His prices are fair for the knowledge he brings.
I have taken my vehicles to Rods shop ever since he fixed a problem ( a short in the wiring harness to the computer) that the dealer couldn't even find! I have never been disappointed, and he always is cheaper than the dealer too. He actually diagnoses problems and fixes them, not just reading a computer the kids at the dealers hook up. Everything from coolant problems on my girlfriends 99 Jeep, to the EFT valve on my 2003 Suzuki Grand Vitara, and of course the tranny/computer problem on my 99 Durango. Thanks ROD!
Failed my emission test and wasted a few months on my own mechanic, then searched around, eventually was told of this place. Rod figured out the problem Friday, and fixed it, retested and passed it on Monday. I liked the service and I felt they are reasonably priced.
This is a great shop. I had a coolant leak in my 2000 Suburban and needed to get it fixed fairly soon, since it is a primary car in my house. Rod had me bring my car in the next day and it was fixed the following.Fortunately it was a simple fix but there was no pressure to go beyond what was necessary. Rod suggested a couple of other problems he could fix but I figured my kids (college) could do the simple repair, and I got absolutely no push back. Knowledgeable people and great customer service!
Finally a mechanic I trust!!! Does good fast work reasonable price.
