  • Replace lock washer and re-tighten pitman arm. Test drive to confirm fix. Found steering improved. Rechecked suspension and found slight play in right outer tie rod end, and steering gear does have a little bit of play.

  • Tech noted that the maintenance light was not reset during last service. The coolant recovery was empty but the cooling system was full with no signs of leaks. The power steering supply and return hoses are leaking at the reservoir and the reservoir was over half empty. Both hoses and clamps will need to be replaced. The serpentine belt is starting to crack and the belt grooves getting deep. Tech noted that the engine is seeping oil around the valve cover area and front timing cover area. Everything else is looking good. The tire pressure were at 34 psi.

Also, noted that there was some residue on the splash shield from the LOF. Tech replaced the radiator cap and sealed the overflow hose to the radiator neck.
